The Brief
The LGW Group was approached by Thatchers Cider to supply their factory in Somerset with quality concrete. At LGW, we are proud of the excellent reputation we have earned for providing a full range of concrete services as well as excellent reliability, workmanship and customer care that enables clients such as Thatchers to trust us with their projects.
Supplying the concrete
The concrete for the cider factory was supplied from the Cheddar plant of LGW Group member, Wright Readymix, leading suppliers of the ready mix concrete and liquid screed in the South, and delivered to the site. Wright Readymix is also home to one of the largest and one of the smallest concrete pumps in the country which means they can deliver concrete to even the most difficult to reach sites. Fellow member Prodeck-Fixing Ltd, leading providers of steel decking design, planning and installation, also assisted with this massive project.
The result
Our team of experts worked together to ensure Thatchers received the best possible service and concrete workmanship in the industry, and we’re proud to say we successfully supplied a total of approximately 2km3 of concrete.
